Creating a Profile:

Before you jump in doing exercises or activities, you will start by making your own profile. Select a Mii, enter your age information and height, and do some quick tests:

BMI Check: BMI is a measure of fat based on height as well as weight; and is a standard used by agencies like World Health Organization. For checking your BMI, you have to enter your height and then stand on the Balance Board and allow it to read your weight.

Wii Fit Age: once you’ve checked your Body Mass Index, you will have to do a basic balance test. Apart from that, you have to figure out your Wii Fit Age as well. This basic balance test estimates how well you may control your left as well as right balance. On the basis of the results, you will be assigned your Wii Fit Age.

Categories:

Wii Fit offers four major categories to select from, i.e. Aerobics, Strength Training, Balance Games and Yoga. While you spend time doing work outs, you will earn Fit Credits, which unlock the additional exercises as well as activities within such categories. It also tracks the activities that you usually do and puts them in the Favorites category.

Strength Training: enhance your strength, with the help of muscle-toning exercises, such as Single Leg Extension, Arm and Leg Lift, Sideways Leg Lift, Single-Arm Stand, Rowing Squat, Torso Twists, Single Leg Twist, Push-Up and Side Plank, Lunge, Jackknife, as well as Plank and Tricep Extension.
